This Cookie Policy explains how Jcom Technologies ("Jcom") uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It complements our Privacy Policy.
2. Categories of Cookies
Cookies are commonly grouped into four categories:
- Strictly necessary - required for the site to function and stay secure; exempt from consent.
- Functional - remember preferences you set (e.g. display options).
- Analytics / performance - help understand how the site is used.
- Marketing / advertising - build profiles and personalize ads.
Under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules, only strictly necessary cookies may be set without consent. All other categories require your prior, freely-given, specific consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
3. What This Site Actually Uses
This website sets no cookies. We run no analytics, no advertising or marketing trackers, no social-media pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts of any kind. Nothing on this site follows you to another site. Fonts are served from our own server rather than fetched from a third party, so simply reading these pages sends no data to anyone but us.
We use one item of browser storage, and only if you choose to use the demo flow:
- Demo consent record (browser local storage, key
jcom_demo_consent) - written only when you tick the consent box before we hand you over to Telegram. It stores the fact that you agreed, the version of the terms you agreed to, and the time. It is strictly necessary: it is our record that consent was given. It contains no identifier and is not sent to any third party. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Requesting a page also writes an ordinary server log entry (IP address, time, page requested), which is how any web server works. That is covered by our Privacy Policy.
If we ever introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
4. Your Choices & Consent
Because we set no cookies and use no tracking technologies, there is nothing here to consent to, and no consent banner is shown. That is the point: a banner would be theatre if there is nothing to accept or reject. Should we ever introduce non-essential cookies, you will be asked to consent per category, with an equally prominent option to reject, and you will be able to withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. You can clear the one demo-consent entry described above through your browser's site-data settings at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date above shows the current version.
